ESSVY Constructions is part of the ESSVY Group which also owns ESSVY Constructions India Pvt. Ltd (Formerly known as ESSVY Cold Storage Pvt. Ltd). Our Construction wing specializes in the execution of railway projects and development and maintenance of cold storage facilities throughout Andhra Pradesh.
Our History
ESSVY Constructions was formerly known as ESSVY Cold Storage Pvt. Ltd and was incorporated on 14th July 1999, with the aim of developing and operating cold storage facilities. The Company made a humble start by constructing a cold storage facility on leased land belonging to a promoter of the company. Keeping in line with a business restructure plan however, the company was renamed ESSVY Constructions on 1st Jan 2011, in order to carry out construction contracts in the railways. The original business of operating cold storage facilities however, is still continuing in other verticals of the company.
Our Verticals
Our First Facility was setup in 1999 following the setup of the company under its original title. The facility had a storage capacity of more than one lakh bags of chili. This allowed the company to generate massive profits which were then used for subsequent construction of a second storage facility in 2006. The latter facility had a storage capacity of more One and a half lakh bags. As of today, our cold storage facilities generate thriving profits and have allowed us to continually find advances in technology and storage methods for the benefit of our clients. As of 1st Jan 2011, the company was renamed ESSVY Constructions India Private Limited (ECIPL).
Our Constructions division specializes in handling and executing with effortless success a variety of railway projects. Thanks to the expertise of our esteemed promoters, who have been handling and executing these projects since 1980, we are able to temper out work with their humbling repertoire of knowledge. We currently have several on-going projects which we have taken up for South Central Railways (SCR) and South Western Railways (SWR), in addition to several successfully completed projects with the same clients.
Our promoters and shareholders place great emphasis on progress in technical expertise and technological requirements of the company. As a result, we have the capability to undertake a vast variety of activities which include:
- Construction of New Railway Lines
- Gauge Conversion of Existing Lines
- Major Earthworks
- Major Bridges with PSC and Steel Girders and Minor Bridges
- Ballast Supply and Building Works
- Track repair and maintenance works
ESSVY Constructions has specialized in and successfully implemented the Construction of Road Under Bridges (RUB) by the Box Pushing technique in projects for the South Central and South Western Railways. This method involves the use of precast RCC blocks to create Road Under Bridges in areas where they may be required.
2010 marked the entry of ESSVY Constructions into private Railway Contracts. We bagged the contract for the construction of a Road Under Bridge (RUB) by box pushing method from Jindal Steels for their plant in Tornagallu. We also have a project of the same nature underway for Ultra Tech Cements at Malkhed Road.
